I pick up the phone and dial.

I hear, "Hello?"

"Helen," I say, "This is Kati."

"Oh, hi," she says, not sounding too thrilled.

"I hear that you called Americorps on us with all sorts of bizarre accusations," I say.

She sputters.

I take a deep breath.

"Helen," I say, "Fuck you."
