I take it back. I won't be able to spend all that nice time working on files. Not in the budget afterall. Seems that I'll be delivering a lot of chicken during those two weeks instead. Ah well. Such is life.

I'll find time to do those files somehow. Maybe we'll have a lot of snow days. Yes. Snow days.

On a brighter note, I'm going to teach the kids how to bind books next week! Hurray! We'll be using box cardboard and construction paper. I think they'll like it. When they saw the test book I made with those materials, they were all oohing and ahhing.

Oh lord. Reality just sunk in a little. The director is on maternity leave. Number two in charge stepped up for interim director. She's going to be out for three weeks starting Wednesday. I'm going to be in charge of a program I've worked at for just under three months. I don't even know where everything is kept yet.

Whew. Reality has just passed my by. I feel much better now.
